Welp... it's been a long time since my last update and I have been up to a lot, but this is going to be short because I'm tired....
On October 4th I had a mole removed. It was melanoma (skin cancer) and I've had 3 surgeries and have been going through chemo for the last month.
Other than that I really haven't been too busy. I bought my dress last month, so I'm excited about that. The wedding is about 9 months away, which is exciting. Slowly but surely getting things done. Too slow for me, but I can't complain. When someone is helping and they're the reason things aren't getting done in a fast fashion, you can't say anything except thank you.
Oh well... more later if I think about it!!

Just wanted to let everybody who still reads this now... the date is set! We are getting married on September 1, 2007. Now that it's been settled with everyone, I hope we can start making definate wedding plans like people and decorations. Just giving a little update!!!

Wow it's been a long time!!!
Well... now that it's been about 3 months I thought I would post a small update for all those that still read this thing and give a crap! Life is good... not what I would like for it to be... but not as bad as it could be. I didn't get the job at Wachovia even though the lady that did my interview told me I had one if there was an opening and then like 2 weeks later I get an e-mail telling me that I wasn't qualified for the job (even though the assessment told me I was) and that I could try again later 6 months from my interview date. That's crap I might add!
Things with Michael are wonderful. We've had some real rough patches in the last month and 1/2 or so, but we're still truckin' along. We have been together almost 2 years now and despite the fights and arguments I don't think I could be any happier than I am when I'm with him. Zach turned 1 on Wednesday the 19th and Josh is going to be 23 on the 28th so we're having a combined party for father (Josh) and son (Zach) for those that don't know the relationship.
Michael has been searching for a job in a car dealership for probably the last 10 months or so and hasn't ever really had any luck until this week. He went to Ben Mynatt (I don't know if that's spelled right or not) Nissan on Wednesday to see if they were hiring and talked to the guy that does the hiring for the maintenance department for over an hour and the guy said that if he wanted he could fill out an application or take it home and fill it out and bring it back. He took it home, filled it out and within an hour had it back in the guy's hand. The guy took him around and showed him which bays he could choose from and told him that he would even kick two guys out of their bays if Michael wanted them. Michael then got a call on Thursday from this man and he told Michael to not look for another job yet and that he would let him know for sure on Wednesday next week because the man was going out of town and he wouldn't be able to get in touch with him, but that he pretty much had a job and that he would put him on the heavy stuff right off the bat and let him work on flat rate (which for those that don't know means he can make like 3 times the money he would if he was paid by the hour).
That's enough for now. My hair is getting to where it's almost too dry to straighten so I will post more when I find more out!

Hey y'all! Mom came through her surgery fine. She actually got to come home a day early. They were cysts, not polyps and after they had opened her up, they found that they were on her fallopian tubes, not her ovaries, which is wonderful news. The cysts being on the ovaries meant that they were definately 100% non-cancerous, so that was wonderful news for us! That's all for now!

I have nothing to report except that I'm still working for the YMCA. I'm trying hard to get a job somewhere else. Michael and I are doing wonderful. It seems like we get closer and closer every day. We hit 18 months on Tuesday. Mom is having surgery on Monday next week. She's having to have polyps (SP) removed from her ovary they left behind when she had her hysterectomy. They are doing a full C-section, so she'll be out of work for a few weeks while she recovers. I may take that Monday off to spend time with her after she gets out of surgery. I don't know. I haven't decided yet. Oh well. That's all for now I think. I'll let y'all know if I get a new job.

I'M 21 YEARS OLD TODAY! Man I feel OLD! Haha! Tonight I'm going out to eat with the family and my baby! I'm glad I get to spend my birthday with my family... I miss the time we used to spend together. That's all for now!

Hey y'all! I told y'all I'd keep y'all updated about my weight loss and what not... so here goes... I gained like 40 pounds and I'm now in the 200's.................................. NOT! I've lost like 12 pounds for the month and I'm excited about it! My clothes are fitting better, I feel better and I can definately say I'm looking better! Haha! I glad I'm actually doing something and sticking with it! Haha! I've done like 27 1/2 miles so far this month on the treadmill and I still have 2 days left to go and I'm hoping to hit 32 by the end of the month. I'm uping my goal for next month to 36 miles since it's a shorter month. I don't know. We'll have to see how things go.
I may be quitting my job at the YMCA to go work for a bank in Mooresville! That's also exciting for me because I've always wanted to work at one. This has been a good month for me so far despite the downs I've had. There are some things with work that have been going very badly and that's why I think I'm going to leave. It will solve A LOT of problems and help with some of the stress. Oh well... there will be more posted about that as things develop!
